Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He is a major player within music in the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his smash hit from 2016) was awarded an Colombian Kids Choice Award, 2017 Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN for the Medellin-based Sony-distributed La Industria Inc. The album climbed to number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he joined forces with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. Mala Influencia is which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and his Dopamina album the following year. In 2021, he appeared in a duet with TINI on her streaming hit song Maldita Foto. The smash hit La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo is a product of a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father have been musicians. According to him, music was an integral part of his life. While a boy, he studied the guitar as well as the saxophone. While his initial career choice was becoming a vet, His brother Julian advised him to go for lessons in singing with a Cuban teacher and the end outcome of discovering his talents as a singer altered the course of his life.
